Dying Light: The Beast is a standalone survival-action chapter that blends savage melee combat, parkour movement, and a darker, more personal tone than a simple zombie romp. Its forests, towns, day-night tension, and brutal close-quarters encounters make it the kind of game where performance directly shapes feel.

Kyle Crane gives the game a familiar anchor, but the more interesting angle is the split between human desperation and monstrous power. If Techland gets the tone right, it should feel like a nastier, more personal spin on Dying Light's parkour survival formula rather than just a louder expansion of it.
