Just Cause 2 is open-world chaos turned into a mission statement: grapple hook, parachute, hijacked jets, exploding fuel tanks, and an island dictatorship begging to be dismantled. It is less about realism than about asking how absurdly you want to solve the problem.

Chaos is not a side effect here; it is the design goal. Grappling hooks, parachutes, vehicle theft, and huge environmental spaces all exist to let the player chain stunts together until basic traversal becomes its own action scene. Few open-world games are this openly committed to pure mischief.
