WWE 2K23 continues the series' rebuild with more stable wrestling, strong presentation, and a better sense of match flow than some earlier entries. It is still theatrical by nature, but the ring action feels more reliable.

The appeal is the same core wrestling fantasy fans always chase: recognizable stars, big entrances, and just enough ring mechanics to make every near-fall feel like a small dramatic event. It works best when the presentation and timing combine to make matches feel performed, not merely simulated.
